It’s a well-equipped village hall, and we hope that you can utilise our venue for your next important event.

Hall

8am > 5pm £12.50 per hour

6pm > 10pm £15 per hour

£15 daytime - £16 Evening hirers from outside the Parish boundaries

Kitchen

Stand-alone hire:

8am > 5pm £10 per hour

6pm > 10pm £15 per hour

If hiring the hall:

+£5 per hire (preparation)

+£10 per hire (commercial cooker use).

Deposit of £40 may be required to cover cleaning/missing items at the discretion of the committee.

Veranda

£10 per hour for locals

£15 per hour for those from outside the Parish.

Access to kitchen for £5 teas/coffee/prep

£10 (using main cooker) per session.

Bar Hub Area

Standalone booking:

8am > 10pm £10 per hour

If booking main hall: +£30 per booking with open licenced bar and volunteer staff contact for availability.

Bar hire is NOT always possible.

Negotiable - with profits to QEHW Charity.

Options to employ professional bar companies.

Whole Hall

Whole Hall Exclusive use

£500 8am - 11.00pm

Including time arranged for decorating and clear up on the surrounding days.

All Day for residents (or their families - weddings/wake etc) living in the hamlets of Worstead, Bengate, Briggate, Withergate, Lyngate, Tunstead, Sloley and Meeting Hill.

In certain circumstances, and with the prior approval of the Management Committee, users that wish to sell/serve alcohol on the premises must first confirm this with the Committee and then either obtain a licence themselves or use an outside provider who has a licence.

The hall does not provide a catering service; hirers must make their own arrangements if so required.

Price: £500

Stage

+£20 negotiable cost for stage use.

Depending on purpose and how much of the building is being hired concurrently. Due to the energy usage, this can vary throughout the year.

Children's Parties

£45 standard children's party rate

including Kitchen preparation use (extra £5 if commercial cooker is required, rather than just teas, coffee and preparation space)

A children’s party standard rate allows 3 hours for the party.

This includes the setting up time (you can factor in any amount of time necessary before your guest arrive/invite time).

The 3 hours will commence from the time you request the doors to be unlocked (give yourselves time for set-up, bouncy castle delivery, entertainer arriving, etc).

Extra hours can be added on request @£10ph.

QEHW will not hire out the hall for 1 hour after the party end time.

This gives plenty of clean up time and child herding opportunities.

Includes: Hall, Kitchen, Veranda, Toilets use.

The hall is large

Length 17m - Width 8m - Height 7m+

So easily able to fit bouncy castles in.

This has an additional £10 cost to cover the energy use during a party.
